FLYLEAF Enjoying Their Own Tour

May 31, 2006

Launch Radio Networks reports: FLYLEAF just wrapped up the initial leg of its first headlining tour over the weekend and will fly to Europe for some festival shows before coming back to the States to begin the second leg on June 17 in Birmingham, Alabama. Singer Lacey Mosley told Launch that the band enjoys being in charge of its own tour: "It's really a lot more energy when — I mean, as far as like, not having to answer to anybody above us, you know, so we can pretty much be who we are, no matter what, you know, on our own tour. And also, the fans are our fans, so the energy from the crowd is just off the chart."

FLYLEAF is supporting its self-titled debut album, which features the singles "I'm So Sick" and "Fully Alive".

The band will join KORN, DEFTONES and STONE SOUR on the main stage of the Family Values tour, which begins on July 27 in Virginia Beach.
